Public anger and rebuttal has been fired at the United Airlines Company after a horrific scene took place in one of their airplanes this week.
“Horrified, shocked and sickened” these words marked the reaction given by the daughter of a man that was dragged out of an aircraft of the above mentioned company in a humiliating manner.
A video of the incident went viral on all social media platforms, prompting the concern to initiate a wide-scale apology, hoping to save what is left of their public image.
Scandalous staff members
As a United plane was on the verge of boarding from Chicago, space was required for four crew members on the flight from the city’s O’Hare International Airport to Louisville, Kentucky.
For whatever reasons the staff of the jet saw fit, they decided to ask David Dao, a 69-year-old Vietnamese-American doctor, to leave the airplane.
At his refusal, three officers brutally dragged the man outside, shocking all passengers and promoting an atmosphere of fear and panic.
Mr. Dao suffered during the process from a significant concussion, a broken nose and lost two front teeth.
Company in panic
The footage of this material shows the graphic scene and has moved people nationwide to outcry against this “atrocious” conduct of the company’s personnel.
United Continental Holdings Inc. has been trying to contact the victim in a failing attempt to offer him compensation, show an ethical attitude towards him and try to end the matter between them.
The attorney of the doctor has publicly confirmed that he will personally take the airline company to court and that their actions have to be sanctioned accordingly by authorities.
The Chicago Department of Aviation Commissioner has promptly launched an investigation into the incident, describing the situation to be a “nightmare”
