Following the release of his recent album, Jay-Z dropped an animated video for the track ‘The Story of O.J.” The rapper disclosed the arrival of Magna Carta Holy Grail on Tidal, this month. The piece directed by Mark Romanek and the rapper blends African-American conception.
The protagonist, Jaybo showed off Sambo and raps as vigorously compelling pictures of cotton fields, slave ships, burning crosses and mob actions display.

Jay-Z speaks on the song

Speaking to iHeartRadio, Jay-Z addressed the song ‘The Story of OJ as a track that portrays them as a culture with vision, and how to make it come alive. He added that artists make and lose money, but making out something bigger from success crowns it all.
Jay Z’s new album is coming after the 2013’s Magna Carta Holy Grail – the album comes as a Tidal unique one on the 30th of June. However, it’s uncertain the period this album will maintain the exclusiveness, or if there are plans for physical release.

It can be recalled that few weeks before the release of the album, some banners and ads sprang up, little was it clear that the 4:44 was a body of a forthcoming Tidal-only movie featuring Lupita Nyong’o, Mahershala Ali, and Danny Glover. Also starring in the movie and appearing on the album are Jay Z’s mum, Gloria Carter, Damian Marley, and Frank Ocean.

Apparently, Jay-Z will be the rave of the moment as he hits the road this summer as regards 4:44, he’ll be stopping by at events like Made in America, Meadows and Austin City Limits.
