The May 15th episode of The Late show with Stephen Colbert on CBS will feature the musical guest Metallica. The band says that they are thrilled to be back on the East Cost starting off with Worldwired tour. There couldn’t be a better way to have a swashbuckling day than visiting The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The band further said that they would be performing at the iconic Ed Sullivan Theatre in NYC on Monday, May 15, and urges everyone to stay up and watch them do what they know best.

Metallica was interviewed and also performed on The Colbert Report in September 2013. As such, the upcoming may 15 events wouldn’t be their first appearance on Stephen Colbert’s talk show. The live rehearsal by M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore titled Now That We’re Live by Metallica will be aired live tonight on Facebook (May 9) at 9:00 P.M EST which is the night to their long-prepared show for the WorldWired tour 2017. The stage and audience will come alive with the mind-blowing rehearsal performance by the multiple Grammy Award winners and Rock And Roll Hall of Fame inductees.
The bumper-packed rehearsal will feature presentation of four songs by Metallica including Now That We’re Dead, one of their hit singles. The performance will give their fans an insight into what they have in stock with their WorldWired tour; this will be up for on-demand live stream through their Facebook page and their site metallica.com
Viewers who will stream these live videos can also contribute and make donations to the band’s All Within My Hands Foundation, which supports an array of local, national and Bay Area Charities, as well music education schemes and local food banks.
The Metallica’s North American version will hit various stadiums in 25 cities before it gets down in mid-August. Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat was a strong support on Metallica’s first North American tour since 2009 but has been overthrown by Gojira in the past six shows.
On September 4, the first ever Europan leg of WorldWired will take place in Amsterdam and will happen through until November. The show will start up again after a little break on February 10, 2018, in Bologna, Italy. It will stretch till May and end in Helsinki, Finland.
