An engineer working for Apple has reportedly been sacked following the release of a video by his daughter on YouTube. The video which was shared this week featured the engineer’s daughter, Brooke Amelia Patterson’s trip to Apple’s campus, from the footage, she had access to confidential QR codes for employees only.
Shown on the iPhone X was a notes app, which displayed names for Apple products that were yet to be released, as reported by the Verge. The report made it clear that it was prohibited to film on Apple’s campus and even more so when an unreleased iPhone X is in the picture.
It was shared by the vlogger that her father had as a result of the video being sent away. Her father who had only been with Apple for a little over three years.
The much anticipated Apple product on Friday went for pre-orders through selected countries with India being included. The smartphone has been designated to be available for purchase. The phone has been said to support a display that is free of bezel, a security face identification and a crafted notch for the sensors of the phone.
